About Me
I am trained in integrative counselling which means I focus on you as an individual and tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. I feel it is important to be adaptable as a therapist, and take into consideration you as an individual and your specific circumstances.
As your counsellor I will aim to empower you so that you can make healthier and better choices for yourself. It is firstly about awareness, then acceptance, and finally comes change.
I work with both adults and young people over the age of 16. I have particular experience working with clients who are facing relational issues whether that be in the form of complications with partners, friends, colleagues or family conflict. The relationships we have play a role in the shaping of how we experience the world. This is why I believe strong and fulfilling relationships with others can help people maintain positive emotional well-being.
In addition to my private practice I am also an approved CPCAB Tutor and teach Counselling Skills courses at The Mindspace Foundation in Basingstoke.
